The Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre is the newest addition to our growing Rock family of brands here at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville, Ontario.
When we first opened the TRAC over a decade ago, my hope was to provide athletes a place to develop, compete, and ultimately improve in every facet of their game, from the pros that play for the Toronto Rock all the way to the next generation just starting their careers. While our focus has always obviously been on the sport of lacrosse, athletes in other sports have also utilized the TRAC to achieve those same goals.
In addition to the TRAC serving as the Rock’s 80,000 sq. ft. training facility and team head office, thousands of athletes from all over the province compete in our various leagues, programs and events throughout the year. We have an on-site gym & fitness facility, the Dynamic Athlete, led by the Rock’s Strength & Conditioning Coach. The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Shop provides players a place to find all the gear, equipment, training apparel and everything else they’ll need to succeed in their upcoming season. And now...
The Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre, the exciting next chapter in our world-class facility’s evolution, allows us to proudly offer comprehensive care, the latest in rehabilitation practices, innovative techniques and therapies, and unparalleled expertise and education to the players that participate in our various offerings here at the TRAC, but also for athletes and active individuals of all ages, abilities, skills, and fitness levels.
Led by Physiotherapist and Clinic Manager Emily Kenyon, our extremely experienced, accomplished, and talented team are already providing patients with high-level care to improve their physical, psychological, and overall wellbeing.
In coming weeks, we’ll also be hosting the Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre’s grand opening. I hope to see you there!
