We are pleased to announce that Dr. Shantelle Reid, a Sports Medicine Doctor, will be joining the Toronto Rock Sports Medicine and Wellness Team.

As a Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Reid specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries and conditions. At the Toronto Rock Sports Medicine and Wellness, Dr. Reid focuses on providing comprehensive care to athletes and active individuals, helping them recover and optimize their performance. Dr. Reid is dedicated to helping patients regain their functional abilities and return to their active pursuits.

Dr. Reid completed her medical degree in Ireland at the National University of Ireland, Galway and then completed her Family Medicine residency at McMaster University at their Brampton site. As a former competitive athlete, she was strongly drawn to Sport Medicine throughout her training and had the opportunity to complete her fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine through Western University.

As part of her fellowship she was involved with providing coverage for a number of varsity sports, including soccer, hockey, and wrestling, as well as community events including provincial gymnastics championships and half-marathons.
